Fragrant Alley 香巷

Fragrant Alley is a mini zine that captures the essence of Hong Kong's small, meaningful moments. The name, 香巷 (Fragrant Alley), is a play on the Chinese characters for Hong Kong (香港), reflecting a deep connection to the city. This zine is a nostalgic reflection of my personal memories of Hong Kong, just like wandering through its alleyways. It was inspired by my experience of revisiting the city's fast-food restaurants in 2023 after COVID and reconnecting with the culture.
 

In exploring the potential of zines as something portable, I decided to transform it into a brooch, allowing people to wear the zine as an accessory.
